The Hideaway is Jo Eykyn’s new boutique salon in the heart of Hursley. A space created for people who want beautiful, refined hair without the noise or rush of a busy salon. Everything here is slower, calmer, more intentional - the kind of experience where you can switch off, feel looked after, and leave with hair that feels effortlessly you.
The salon.
The Hideaway has been designed to feel calm and quietly luxurious. Soft warm tones, comfortable space, and an atmosphere that feels more like a private studio than a traditional salon.
You’re never rushed. You’re never competing for attention. Everything is done with focus and care, in surroundings built to help you breathe out for an hour or two.

We offer a full range of contemporary hair services, from refined cuts and natural, wearable colour to smoothing, glossing, hydration treatments and considered styling for everyday or occasion.
Everything starts with understanding your hair as it is — texture, tone, movement — then working with it to create something polished, flattering, and easy to live with. This is hair designed to last, to feel like you, and to make your life simpler, not more high-maintenance.
Meet Director Jo Eykyn.
Jo has built her career across a number of highly respected salons throughout the South and Thames Valley, including Toni & Guy and Haringtons, before becoming one of the founding directors of ME Collective. Her experience has taken her from boutique regional salons through to advanced training in London, shaping a calm, thoughtful approach grounded in both technical excellence and genuine client care. The Hideaway is her own expression of that experience — a space designed around the way she believes hair appointments should feel: personal, relaxed, considered, and fully centred on the individual in her chair.
Her approach is simple and restrained. Hair that looks polished but natural. Shapes that grow out well. Colour that enhances rather than overtakes. She listens closely, works with your hair’s natural movement, and gives advice you can trust. It’s luxury without attitude, and detail without fuss.

USEFUL INFORMATION
Parking.
Park at the Kings Head, which is agreed with the landlord. Visitor cards for your windscreen are available at the salon if you would like one, but they are not needed.
Cancellations.
Please give at least 48 hours’ notice so we can offer the appointment to someone else.
Running late.
We will always do what we can to fit you in. If we cannot do the service without rushing or keeping our next client waiting, we may need to rebook you.
Children and dogs.
Very welcome. We would love to meet them. The salon is small, so we cannot accommodate large groups or several pets without disrupting other clients. If you are unsure, send us a message.
How to book.
Book online, or send a text, WhatsApp or email. These are the quickest ways to reach us. Calls can take longer, as we may be with a client or it may be our day off, but we will always get back to you as soon as we can.
