BUILDING GREAT SALONS.
Building a great salon isn’t just about the hair; it’s about leading people, managing systems, and making confident business decisions every day.
With years of experience as both a salon owner and industry educator, Jo Eykyn works alongside salon owners to help them build a business that feels structured, profitable, and sustainable, without losing the passion that made them start.
Whether you need support in one area or across your entire salon, she offers practical, real-world guidance that fits how salons actually run. You don’t have to keep figuring it all out on your own.
Leading a team.
If your team feels inconsistent, hard to manage, or you're stuck between being a stylist and a leader, I can help you create clarity, accountability, and lead with confidence.
Strengthening your numbers.
If you're busy but profits don’t reflect it, I help you refine pricing, simplify your services, and build a structure that supports sustainable growth.
GROWING YOUR SALON.
If you're stepping into hiring — or your current team setup feels messy — I guide you in building a team and salon model that actually works long term.
ENHANCING YOUR CLIENT EXPERIENCE.
If clients aren’t rebooking, retail feels forced, or the experience lacks consistency, I help you create a seamless journey that builds loyalty and results.
Meet Director Jo Eykyn.
Jo Eykyn has experienced salon life from every angle. She built her career across some of the South and Thames Valley’s most respected salons, including Toni & Guy and Haringtons, managing busy teams before going on to co-found and run her own salon business. Alongside this, she retrained part-time as a qualified HR professional, giving her a rare blend of operational, commercial and people expertise shaped by more than 30 years inside the industry itself.
That mix of experience is what inspired Jo to launch her salon consultancy. Having managed teams, trained staff, supported apprentices and navigated the realities of salon ownership herself, she understands first-hand how demanding salon life can be. From staffing challenges and team dynamics to structure, confidence, growth and day-to-day pressures, her approach is grounded in practical, real-world support that genuinely reflects how salons operate.
Rather than offering generic business advice, Jo works alongside salon owners to help them build stronger, calmer and more sustainable businesses — creating the space for them to focus on their clients, creativity and long-term growth.
